The ingenious water rescue device unique to Glasdon Manufacturing Limited. The light weight and streamlined design of B-LINE means that it can be thrown further and more accurately to the victim, increasing the chances of a successful rescue.

Compact and portable, B-LINE is the ideal water rescue aid for carrying by Emergency Service vehicles and for siting at external or internal water spaces.

Quick and simple to use, an arm's length of rope is pulled out of the sleeve, giving freedom of arm movement during the throw. B-LINE is thrown underarm beyond the victim and then drawn back into their grasp. The rescuer can remain safely on shore. The soft nose of the buoy reduces the risk of injury to the victim. B-LINE provides the victim with buoyancy, reducing panic and allowing regular breathing to recommence. They can then be pulled safely ashore.
 
 
SPECIFICATIONS
Colour: Bright Yellow
Weight: 1.3kg
Buoy: A hollow, sealed moulding which provides 4.14kg of buoyancy.
Rope: B-LINE comprises 31m of 6mm diameter polypropylene floating rope with a breaking strain of 550kg. Rope is white with an easily identifiable red tracer.
Sleeve: A PVC coated nylon sleeve houses and protects the rope. Holes at the base allow water to drain away after use. Sleeve carries clear instructions on recommended method of use plus instructions on packing B-LINE after use.
Release Tab: Allows a quick and simple release of the rope in an emergency situation, whilst holding the rope firmly inside the sleeve when not in use.
Polypropylene Strap: Allows the person in the water to hook around arm up to the shoulder if too tired or cold to hold on.
